The Simple Rules

(a) Please post only genuine individual W-2 or 1099 employment positions or internship positions. Business opportunities, investment opportunities, MLM advertisements, and adult entertainment positions are not acceptable postings. Advertisements for businesses or websites are also not acceptable postings. If you see an unacceptable posting then please help us and let us know.
(b) Please post only a genuine resume for yourself.
(c) Please use only language that is polite and professional.
(d) Postings must be accurate and complete. They may not require the viewer to inquire further by email.
(e) Protect your own password.
(f) Posting information on StaffTree.com is a privilege which may be revoked for misuse at any time at the sole discretion of StaffTree, Inc.
(g) Your continued or future use of StaffTree.com constitutes implied acceptance of these rules as well as the more detailed Terms and Conditions.

Additional Terms and Conditions

StaffTree, Inc., a California corporation, hereinafter “StaffTree”, owns and operates StaffTree.com, hereinafter “the website”, and all copyright protections are asserted. You may not make any commercial use of the website unless you are granted specific rights to do so by separate written contract with StaffTree.
The website may be used only for lawful purposes by employers seeking employees and individuals seeking employment. Unless different terms have been specified by separate written contract between you and StaffTree, you are authorized to view the website solely for your personal and noncommercial use. Continued or future use by you of the website constitutes your implied acceptance of these terms and conditions of use.

Specific Prohibitions

1. You may not post incomplete or false biographical information. You may not post information regarding persons other than yourself.

2. You may not post club membership opportunities, multi-level marketing schemes, or any business opportunities which require any type of payment as a condition of participation.
3. You may not use the resume database in any manner to promote any product or service.
4. You may not delete information posted by another person.
5. You may not share your password with another person who may then use that password to gain access to any portion of the website that is not open to the public. You are responsible for use by any person of your registration and password, whether with or without your permission.
6. You may not use the website to store or transmit data that is defamatory, hateful, threatening, or sexually explicit. You may not use the website in any manner that may tend to violate any law or regulation or to infringe the legal or personal rights of others.
7. You may not attempt to violate the security of the website or its associated networks and servers. Violations include without limitation accessing protected proprietary data, probing for vulnerabilities, insertion of hyperlinks, overloading system capabilities, and bypassing authentication measures
8. You may not use the website to infringe the intellectual property rights of others in any way.

Without your prior consent, StaffTree will not disclose your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, or any other unique or identifying information except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant. You agree that, on an anonymous basis only, StaffTree may disclose to third parties certain non-identifying information contained in your registration. StaffTree reserves the right to offer third party services and products to you based on preferences expressed by you. StaffTree may also use aggregated information regarding website users as constituent groups for purposes of marketing and website administration. The StaffTree privacy policy is incorporated here in by reference.

Subject to the StaffTree privacy policy, you grant to StaffTree the perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, and non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, translate, and publish worldwide any part of any information posted by you on the website. You also permit any person having lawful access to such information through the website to display, view, store, and reproduce that information for personal use.

Because the website is merely a passive conduit for the distribution and publication of user-submitted information on the Internet, StaffTree has no obligation to screen communications or information in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring material posted by users. StaffTree does not guarantee the accuracy of information posted by users of the website and it does not endorse any opinions expressed by those users. Your reliance on material posted by other users will be at your own risk.

At its sole discretion, StaffTree may remove or request the removal of any posted information which does not conform to these terms and conditions. StaffTree shall not be liable to users for such removal or any non-removal. Regarding information posted by users, StaffTree may take any action it deems appropriate if in its sole discretion such information appears to increase its risks of liability or imperil its commercial relationships.

StaffTree disclaims responsibility for the legality and safety of posted employment opportunities and the qualifications of candidates. You assume all risks associated with your dealings with other users with whom you come into contact through your use of the website and you release StaffTree from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising from such dealings. StaffTree disclaims responsibility for any improper decisions regarding employment made by any user.

The website is offered users is without warranty of any kind. StaffTree particularly disclaims responsibility for damage to your computer equipment, data, or business profits caused by mechanical defect, mechanical malfunction, date processing error, or computer virus associated with the website. You release StaffTree from liability for damages resulting from your use of the website or inability to use the website for any reason.

The website may contain links to other Internet sites owned and controlled by third parties. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you. StaffTree neither endorses those sites nor assumes responsibility for their content or the consequences of your contact with them.

Upon any breach by you of these terms and conditions, StaffTree may at its discretion terminate your access to and use of the website, delete any portion of your postings to the website, and cancel your registration.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StaffTree, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, actions, or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from any material you post on the website, your use of any content of the website, or your breach of these terms and conditions. The maximum liability of StaffTree in any action arising out of your use of the website shall not exceed $100.

Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this agreement shall lie exclusively with the state or federal courts within Los Angeles, California. These terms and conditions are to be interpreted under the laws of the State of California.

These terms and conditions are not subject to modification except by a revised posting on the website. No waiver of any term of these terms and conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions. Except as expressly provided in additional terms of use for particular areas of the website, in a separate legal notice, or in a separate written contract between you and StaffTree, these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and StaffTree regarding your use of the website.
